Our 2021 Residential
And… we’re back from our event filled weekend at our first Vegan Kids Residential.
To say I was a little tired on my return is an understatement.
However, the trip was enjoyed by all who came with one child exclaiming it had been the best weekend of her life, so the tiredness was well worth it.
One of my favourite moments was when the kids started chanting, “Vegan Kids!” on the way back from our walk to the tower.
It was great to see the kids bonding over being vegan and being surrounded by so many other vegan kids.
Some of the highlights from the trip were seeing how the kids worked together, made friends and helped each other out.
There were lots of fun activities, great food and late nights!
The kids got the chance to challenge themselves, and they all rose to meet that challenge. From the youngest to the oldest, they all got to experience new things, push themselves and be in an environment where vegan kids rule!
We’re very much looking forward to our next trip!
